Students’ thoughts
"I’m currently learning Japanese with Nikko, and every lesson is expanding my knowledge of the language! His personalized approach makes each session engaging and effective, and I particularly appreciate how he tailors lessons to my pace, simplifying complex concepts.
Living in different countries has never been an issue, as his platform is entirely virtual. The simplicity of online bookings and a wide range of available appointment times offer immense flexibility for any schedule.
Thanks to Nikko’s support, I’ve gained confidence and made noticeable improvements in my conversational skills. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a flexible and rewarding language learning experience!"

"The kids (11, 11, and 13 years old) say that class is fun and you make them laugh. Also we have a kid with learning differences and Nikko has been able to adapt the classes and lessons to his learning style. He takes pride in being able to learn a language. We were interested in exposing the kids to the language because their grandfather is Japanese-American and we thought that he language was a great way to honor him and their heritage. The kids have taken lessons in the past and learned a lot of the basics. We are happy to see them start to move past the basics learning more adjectives and nouns and more complex things. "

Pricing is based on many variables. This can include the duration of your lessons, your current ability, the amount of preparation required, and the frequency of your lessons. That being said, beginner lessons who are starting from 0 generally start at $ 40 (USD) an hour.

It largely depends on how much time you put into the language outside of our lessons. I have several students who started with no prior knowledge and now conduct their entire lesson in Japanese. Generally speaking, assuming a once a week lesson frequency, I would say that 15-20 lessons will give you the foundation required for a conversation.
